For the past 8 years, Rekha Foundation Trust is working as a non-profit organization, has been actively involved in promoting sustainable models like azolla cultivation to reduce carbon footprint, wet waste management to rejuvenate soil and increase fertility, animal welfare by improving quality of feeds and habitat and natural ways of farming (organic) to the local farmers to improve their livelihood.
In response to the pressing global challenges of climate change, waste management, and unsustainable agricultural practices, we propose an integrated approach to address these issues simultaneously. By combining carbon sequestration, wet waste management, and sustainable farming techniques, the project aims to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, reduce environmental pollution, and promote agricultural sustainability.
